Our Curriculum

01Hands-on learning
& Exploration

Our curriculum and lessons plans follow monthly themes and are aligned with the California Preschool Learning Foundations, which include the following developmental domains: social-emotional, language &  and literacy,  physical, & cognitive development. 

02Zoo
Phonics

We incorporate the Zoo Phonics program into our curriculum to develop early literacy skills. Through playful activities and interactive lessons, children learn letter sounds and phonemic awareness, laying the foundation for reading and writing.

03Cross Curricular
Classes

In addition to our core curriculum, we offer premium cross curricular classes throughout the academic year. These classes cover a range of subjects, including gym, music, art, and science, providing children with opportunities to explore their interests and talents beyond the traditional classroom setting.

04Dual Language
Support

E-Plex Preschool is committed to supporting diversity and dual language learners.  Although instruction in English, students are encouraged to learn and grow in both English and their home language to foster linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness from a young age.

05Korean
Home-Style Meals

We understand the importance of nutrition in early childhood development. That's why we provide Korean home-style meals for lunch, ensuring that children receive wholesome and balanced nutrition to fuel their growing bodies and minds.

06Genius Packets
for Lion Class

For our Lion class (ages 4-5), we introduce TK grade level Genius Packets aligned with the Common Core Curriculum and Standards. These packets offer additional challenges and opportunities for academic growth, preparing children for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

Our Environment

Reading Space

A cozy corner filled with a wide variety of age-appropriate books, cushions, and bean bags where children can immerse themselves in the joy of reading.

Circle Time

A designated area where children gather for interactive group activities, storytelling, songs, and discussions, fostering social interaction and communication skills.

Outdoor Playground

A vibrant and safe outdoor space equipped with  developmentally appropriate equipment to foster gross motor skills and physical fitness. An extra large sandbox and gardening containers provide opportunities for peer engagement.

Open Play Area

A spacious indoor area with plenty of room for free play, imaginative activities, and collaborative games, allowing children to express themselves creatively and develop motor skills.

Naptime

Dim lighting and comfortable cots provide a quiet time for our students to rest and recharge.

Learning Centers

Art, Math, Literacy/Writing, Dramatic Play, & Science Centers provide students with opportunities that focus on specific skills.Hands-on exploration, socialization, and creativity are encouraged
